个人简介:Dr Huizhi Liang is an Associate Professor of the School of Computing.Newcastle University. Her research topics include AI, Personalization, LLM.NLP, and Recommender Systems. She is the Head of the AI Research Group atNewcastle University. She obtained her PhD degree at Queensland University ofTechnology, Australia in 2011. Before joining Newcastle University, she workedat University of Reading, LIP6, Pierre et Marie Curie University and French NationalCenter for Scientific Research, University of Melbourne, and Australian NationalUniversity. 报告摘要: In this talk I will first present my recent research work in personalization.Personalization is popularly used in different applications including e-commerce, e-learning, and e-health. Personalized recommender systems based on user behaviours,heterogenous information network with multi-modal data will be presented. I will also discuss the explainability and scalability issues of recommender systems. Then, I willdiscuss approaches for personalized dialogue generation of literature characters ofclassic literature books such as The Dream of Red Chamber (红楼梦). After that, I willpresent work in Large Language Models including issues of hallucination, fairness, andreasoning. I will also present recent work in text-centred multi-modal AI. The exampleapplications include Healthcare, Digital Architecture, Research & Development ofproduct innovation.
